I create maps depicting nature, neighborhoods and cities.
Each map is designed in Photoshop, then painted and embroidered on canvas.
When COVID shut down the world I began exploring through maps. I started with a housewarming gift for a friend in Chicago, and somehow stitching the lines made me remember walking down familiar roads or imagining myself in a place I'd never been before.
